Many garden machine companies in China have resumed production in early February, along with adherence to related prevention work. Industry professionals pointed out that, the global outbreak may make limited influences in domestic garden machinery industry.

For one, there are irreducible market demand supported by existing urban greening areas and tremendous consumer groups at home, plus its wide-covering application field.

For another, local governments introduced a series of supporting policies for resumption in succession, such as helping workers back to work, simplifying review procedures of production resuming, ensuring enterprises have enough protective medical supplies, and etc.

According to Zhejiang Fenglong, a garden equipment supplier in China, “the resumed production proceeds as before and the overall business operation is normal as in previous years. Product delivering to epidemic-affected regions, such as the USA and Italy, also goes well.” 

Though industry resumption is going smoothly, to avoid massive gathering and safeguard the health of our show attendees, GMF, a professional garden trade show supported by Guangdong Association of Landscape Architect, decided to change its date from May to August after a long discussion.
