Bosch is replacing its entry-level hedgecutters with a new generation, which now makes it even easier to cut hedges. The High-Power motors offer 30 watts more power than the predecessor models, while also saving more than ten percent weight. Bosch is underlining its position as the leading provider of hedgecutters with this exceptionally good ratio of power to weight. The width of the hedge is a decisive factor when selecting the right cutter bar length. With cutter bar lengths of 45, 50, 55 and 60 centimetres, Bosch offers the garden owner the right tool for different hedge widths.

The blades of the hedgecutters have a tooth opening of 16 millimetres. This enables effortless cutting of branches with diameters of up to 16 millimetres. These tools are therefore ideal for maintaining small to medium-sized hedges. Even freshly planted, young hedges can easily be put into shape, and cutting them numerous times will help them to achieve particularly dense growth as they reach their full size. An integrated cable restraint prevents the connection between the hedgecutter and the extension cable from being separated, for example if the cable gets caught on a branch. The new hedgecutters have smaller dimensions, which makes them even more compact than their predecessors.

At 2.5 to 2.7 kilograms, they are particularly lightweight. Thanks to their balanced centre of gravity, they are comfortable to hold and guide. User safety is ensured by the two-hand grip system: the tool only runs when both handles are held simultaneously. The hedgecutter shuts down automatically when a contact is interrupted. The handles are shaped so that they can be equally well operated by right-handers and left-handers.
