From March 16 to 17, 2026, the First Meeting of the Council of China National Forestry Machinery Association (CNFMA) for 2026 was convened in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Jing Xinbao, President of CNFMA, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Foma Machinery Group Co., Ltd.

 

Present at the meeting were Mr. Zhao Maocheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing Forestry University (NJFU), Mr. Song Wenlong, President of Northeast Forestry University (NEFU), as well as leaders and representatives from the following enterprises and institutions:

The meeting heard the report on the 2025 work summary and the 2026 key work plan delivered by the Secretariat of CNFMA, and listened to the research report on the statistics of the forestry machinery industry, relevant policies and information analysis. The participating leaders conducted discussions and studies on industry development, the work of the association and current hot issues of common concern to the industry.

 

The meeting held that, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the association thoroughly studied and implemented the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress, the plenary sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of industry associations and chambers of commerce as well as the industry sector. It earnestly followed the work requirements of higher-level Party organizations and industry regulators. Taking the 2025 leadership transition as a new starting point, under the leadership of the Council and the supervision and guidance of the Supervisory Board, the association actively fulfilled its mission of the "Four Services", continuously promoted the standardized development of Party building work within the association, strove to identify its position and take responsibilities in serving the overall interests, and constantly improved its service capacity and level in serving the high-quality development of the industry, thus successfully completing all annual work tasks.

 

The meeting pointed out that in 2026, the association will further strengthen the leadership of Party building, earnestly carry out study and education on establishing and practicing a correct view on performance, take the theme of "Year of Member Service Improvement", highlight priorities, make overall plans, deepen industry service measures, uphold the work style of seeking truth and being practical, fulfill the founding mission and service purpose of the association, continuously support the high-quality development of the forestry machinery industry, and contribute to serving the needs of national strategies and forestry and grassland work.

 

On the morning of March 17, the association organized all participants to visit and study at the South Lake Revolutionary Memorial Hall. They paid close respects to the solemn "Red Boat", listened carefully to the story of "a major political party and a small boat", reviewed the glorious revolutionary course of the Communist Party of China, and deeply comprehended the great founding spirit of the Party. The participants were called on to bear in mind the dream of making China strong through science and technology and rejuvenating the country through industry, follow the leadership of the Party, keep the mission firmly in mind, and act as believers, strivers and practitioners of Chinese-style modernization with concrete actions.
